About Freshly Minted Gold

Welcome to Freshly Minted Goldendoodles! We are a small, home based breeder here in Mint Hill, NC (greater Charlotte area) specializing in intentionally raised F1 Goldendoodles using Puppy Culture. Our goal is to produce healthy, temperamentally sound dogs who are prepared for active family life, therapy, and service work. Our dogs are truly our pets. They live in our home, cuddle on our couch, and are generally spoiled. The puppies we raise are raised alongside children, cats, and chickens - in addition to early neurological stimulation following Puppy Culture’s protocol.

Goldendoodles have become increasingly popular due to their potential to shed less - thanks to the poodle genes - making them an attractive choice for people who may have sensitivities to dogs. While no dog is truly ‘hypoallergenic’ we have found that our family members who are sensitive to dog dander have little to no reaction to our resident Aussie doodle and poodle.

The choice to move forward with Goldendoodles came from a heart for families who are looking for a more allergy friendly option, but want the reassurance of a stable, family dog. Golden retrievers are the paramount family dog, so when the right golden came along, we were excited to begin our own breeding program, offering these wonderful dogs to other families like ours!
